China\'s machinery import & export reached USD 32.176 billion for the first two months of 2005, with an increase of 14.23% over the same period last year. Among the 32.176 billion dollars, the exported accounted for 13.884 billion, up 43.67%. Due to the fact that China\'s measures to slow down some overheated industries is continuing, the import slowed down. Navistar Financial Moves Headquarters (2005-4-13)

Navistar Financial Corp., a subsidiary of Warrenville, Ill.-based International Truck and Engine Corp., announced it is moving nearly 220 employees to new headquarters in Schaumburg, Ill. AB Volvo Annual General Meeting (2005-4-13)

At the Annual General Meeting of AB Volvo on April 12, 2005, the shareholders adoptd the Board\'s proposal to pay a dividend of SEK 12.50 per share, or a total of SEK 5,054,998,025, to the shareholders. April 15, 2005 was adopted as the record date for entitlement to receive the dividend. Payment of the dividend will be made through VPC (Swedish Central Securities Depository & Clearing Organization) on April 20, 2005.The Annual General Meeting also resolved to authorize the Board of Directors of AB Volvo to decide on the purchase and transfer of the Company\'s own shares during the period up to the next Annual General Meeting. Caterpillar Introduces Euro 3 Compliant C13 (2005-4-14)

Caterpillar announced the development of a Euro 3 emissions compliant C13 engine with ACERT Technology, which will be available beginning in July. The C9 alreaday is certified to Euro 3 and is available. Over time, the entire Caterpillar engine line will be certified to Euro 3 and these engines will replace the previous Cat models that have been available for several years, the company said.Available ratings will include 395 hp, 445 hp and 485 maximum hp, with peak torque at 1450 lb. ft., 1550 lb. ft. and 1650 lb. ft. at 1200 rpm and a governed speed of 2100 rpm. Caterpillar also is working on a 500 maximum hp rating that will provide 1750 lb. ft. of torque at 1200 rpm and a governed speed of 2100 rpm. AGCO, leading Russian manufacturer intend to cooperate (2005-4-14)

New president at Kobelco Cranes (2005-4-14)

Yoshihiro Tanno has been appointed president and CEO of Japanese crane manufacturer Kobelco Cranes Co., Ltd. Tanno, who takes up the position in early June and was previously a senior managing director at Kobelco Cranes\' parent company Kobe Steel, will spend the month of May working as an advisor at his new company.Tanno joined Kobe Steel in 1967 and was promoted to the company\'s management in 1990 and became a director in 1996.Outgoing president Takashi Ishida will remain at the company as a senior advisor to the management committee before taking up the position of chairman of West Japan Highway Corporation in October.
