On September 19, one HBT100.16.195RS concrete pump passed CE approval is exported to British. This is the third batch of products exported to Europe following Zoomlion pump, road roller and grader after got CE approval. The HBT100.16.195RS concrete pump took the technology advantages of Zoomlion Heavy Industry & Science, and followed many European standards and commands of basic design idea and common principles such as EN12001:2003 pumping machine safety standard and EN292-1 (-2) machine and equipment safety. It selected world famous diesel engine, VOLVO PENTA/TAD721VE water cool diesel engine (emission approval No.: e1*97/68EA*00/000*0112*04) which meets European current off-road diesel engine Stage II standard. Carlyle Group Decided to purchase AxleTech (2005-9-26)

Financial details not disclosed; current AxleTech management to stay with company The Carlyle Group announced that it has agreed to purchase AxleTech International from Wynnchurch Capital and other minority shareholders. Wynnchurch and existing AxleTech management will remain with the company and continue to be equity investors under the new ownership. The transaction is expected to close in October. Financial terms were not disclosed.AxleTech, based in Troy, Michigan, is a global supplier of axles, brakes and other drivetrain components for off-highway and specialty vehicles to the commercial and military markets. Kia Breaks The Code–No Premium For Diesel Cars (2005-9-26)

According to various press reports in the U.K., Korea\'s Kia Motors has announced it will offer diesel engines in its cars for the same price as gasoline engines. This somewhat anticipated move is expected to further the growth of diesel engines in a variety of consumer vehicles. The somewhat landmark move involves Kia\'s Rio super-mini car which will be available with a choice of gasoline or diesel versions of at the same price. The new Rio range starts at $14,300 for the GS and $16,000 for the LX ¨Cthe engine is 1.4-liter gasoline engine or the 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel. US Terex markets Italian RT series cranes (2005-9-26)

Terex US-based Wilmington operation is now offering the Bendini RT 440B and the RT 660B. Both cranes are manufactured at the Terex Italia plant in Crespellano, Italy.The RT440B, a 40US ton maximum lifting capacity model, features a 123ft maximum boom length, and a 128ft maximum tip height.The RT660B has a 60US ton maximum lifting capacity, with a 106ft maximum boom length, and a 115ft maximum tip height. Both cranes feature fully independent multi-position out and down outriggers, an environmental operator\'s cab claimed to optimise load visibility and productivity, and two-speed main and auxiliary winches. The counterweight is integrated into the superstructure on each of these machines. The single boom hoist cylinder provides boom elevation of -2 to 78 degrees.
