Global Mixers Launches New International Dealer Program (2006-5-9)

China Yuchai International Appoints New Director

China Yuchai International Limited (NYSE: CYD) ("China Yuchai" or the "Company"), announced today that Coomber Investments Limited holding an 18% shareholding in the Company, has nominated Mr. Yiyong Han to replace Mr. Yan Ping, who will be resigning as a director of China Yuchai with effect from May 7, 2010. Mr. Yan remains as a director and the Chairman of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited\'s board of directors.

Mr. Han began working at Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited ("GYMCL") in 2005 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and a director of Coomber Investments Limited as well as company secretary to GYMCL\'s Board of Directors. XCMG Ranks Top 10 in Global Construction Machinery Enterprises Rank

XCMG Group ranks 10th among global construction machinery manufacturers according to the recent 2010 Top 50 of World Construction Machinery ranking released by International Construction, a UK-based magazine and authority in the worldwide construction industry. This is the first time XCMG Group has ranked in the global top 10, up by 5 places in 2009 and 18 places in 2008.

The rankings are based on the 2009 distribution volume of manufacturers’ construction machine products. Also included in the top 10 are a number of global machinery icons: Caterpillar (USA), Komatsu (Japan), Terex Corporation (USA), Volvo Construction Equipment (Sweden), Liebherr (Germany), Hitachi (Japan), John Deere (USA), Case New Holland (USA), Sandvik Mining Construction Machinery (Sweden). Sany Heavy Industry to acquire Sanyi Automobile from Sany Group and Yi Xiaogang

Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., engaged in manufacturing and distribution of engineering machinery products and accessories, has entered into an agreement with Sany Group Co., Ltd. and Yi Xiaogang to acquire a 98.24% stake and a 1.76% stake respectively in Sany Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for CNY2,058.8 million ($301.91 million). All the three companies are based in China.

Sany Group is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of engineering machinery for construction, machinery leasing, manufacture of automobiles, and educational businesses. Sany Automobile is engaged in manufacturing automobiles and related parts and components.

Chinese machinery firm to build Thai site

 Sany Heavy Industry Co Ltd, a Chinese construction machinery manufacturer, will invest up to US$100 million to build a new production base in Thailand with annual turnover of about $100 million. The company said it was making the investment because of its "strong confidence" in the country, despite its political challenges.

"We see a good opportunity to have a new production base in Thailand as it is the centre of Southeast Asia and its culture is similar to ours," said deputy general manager Zhongke Zhang.

The investment outlay will be between $40 million and $100 million, covering the acquisition of land plots sized from 60,000 to 100,000 square metres in an industrial estate and the construction of a manufacturing plant.

The company, now in talks with a few industrial estates, is studying regulations in each Board of Investment zone.
