Caterpillar Monday announced the re-reduction of 2,500 employees

Caterpillar announced Monday, about 2,500 permanent employees leave the company, while another 550 employees will be recalled before the end of next year. Earlier this year, in the global economic downturn conditions, Caterpillar significantly reduced production and cut on 22000 workers, the workers are from this part of the retrenched staff. The Peoria, Illinois, the company has laid off 16% of the employees, there are still slightly more than 94000 workers.
